Samhwa Paint Industry Co., Ltd. (CEO Jin-soo Oh) signed a business agreement with CJ CGV on April 5 at CGV Sinchon Artreon (Seodaemun-gu, Seoul) to establish a safe exit route for visitors in the era of Corona. Accordingly, 'Safe Doctor', an antiviral paint developed and released for the first time in Korea, is installed on the exit road of the theater so that visitors can use the movie theater with confidence.
In the future, Samhwa Paint will build safe exit routes in 9 theaters across the country, including CGV Ilsan and CGV Dongtan, following CGV Gangnam, which completed construction in January, and operate the 'Samwha Paint Safe Doctor Hall'.
The safe doctor applied to the safe exit route is a comprehensive safe antiviral paint that kills 99.9% of airborne viruses (based on picorna virus) when they come into contact with the paint surface. In addition, the FITI test research institute verified the antibacterial properties of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and mold to maintain a sanitary environment.
In addition to the environmental mark, it also passed the eco-friendliness level by acquiring the highest grade of the HB mark, which is the first in the domestic industry to be certified as an eco-friendly building material standard.
An official from Samhwa Paint said, "Doctor Safe has already proven its constructability by applying it to various multi-use facilities such as HACCP certified factories, hospitals, daycare centers, libraries, and public institutions." We hope that it will be helpful in our somewhat stagnant leisure life, and we will continue to strive to create spaces and facilities where customers can feel safe.”
